LIXX / Bio

Like a contemporary musical version of Mad Max, Lixx are blue collar heros, road warriors, battling adversity in the many post apocalyptical nightspots of a scarred and damaged Detroit, and yet they are coming out on top. They're transforming desperation into glorious depravity. They're taking the average Michiganders hunger for work and redirecting it into hunger for quality Rock-n-Roll old school style, with heart & soul. They know that when a city is suffering, great art will fight it's way out of the rubble & they aim to spearhead the attack. These guys are Rock n Roll veterans who have played on all the big stages (Pine Knob, Freedom Hill, Phoenix Center, Royal Oak Music Theatre, Harpos, St. Andrews Hall, The Fillmore, Callahan's etc..) around Michigan with all the big names from Detroit and from all over the musical world. Fronted by the world's most energetic & exciting lead vocalist Rockin' Robert, (who can make Iggy Pop look tired!) add in the BLAZING Guitars of Tony "TFM" Marocco whom torches the fretboard like a chinese fire drill, then rounded out by Michigan's tightest bottom end: Art Macauley on bass & Nick Marocco on drums. This band could double as a rock n roll energy explosion that has been missing on the stage and airwaves for a long time. If smile making and ass shaking are what your looking for, than look no farther than Lixx and they are ready for battle. ”
