Jo Elless / Bio

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Jo Elless can be seen every 1st and 3rd (and 5th) Monday of each month as the host of the Airliner downtown's art, music, & comedy show (2719 N. Broadway 90031). She studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston (where she played baritone sax in Phil Wilson's Rainbow Band) before coming to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music and entertainment. She plays baritone sax, tenor, alto, clarinet, bass clarinet, flute, fife, river cane flute, guitar, and keys. Jo recently released her first full-band recording album, Copley Inbound (which is available on iTunes and http://www.nimbitmusic.com/joelless.
