My Lai is a town in Vietnam… that’s old news. It’s also a young band from Roosdaal (BE), founded in 2010, that plays alternative rock with an edge. Giving references is always a tough nut to crack but since we’re nice guys, we’re willing to give it a shot. Think Triggerfinger’s pounding drums, Evil Superstars’ noise and lots of fuzzy bass parts. After winning a few contests we managed to combine a few won prices into some serious recordings. Pieter Van Buyten coached us with a strong hand and mixed the tracks with a gentle touch. The result is our very first EP, titled: Vigilante. Recorded in only two days, our small record became a collection of musical portraits of vigilant people and/or behavior. Nothing more, nothing less…
