Delirium Tremens (the DTs) play noirish folk that slides seamlessly from rage through love and straight to the confessional. Lyrics swing from the rafters of Edgar Allen Poe, with delicious riffs and jarring, mellifluous harmonies backed by deft, driving dancing beats… a melancholic folk band who sing songs for the broken hearted and some for the leaps and lights that make the rest of it worthwhile. Karis, with the night in her throat and fire in her heels, Nick Bovaird, who travelled the globe for his girl not once but twice, Lee "the Boom" James on Double Bass, Jake Doran on electric guitar, Matt Povey on bass, and Jon Lamont/Alexandra Moniz on drums.
Their first album THIRST was distributed by Universal and their first single was a Myspace Chirstmas number one. Twin EPs, one delicate acoustic and one stomping full band - are out in 2014.

“Excellent urban folk meanderings out at leftfield with some fine assaults on the sense and always probing, probing – the coolest act ever to explore Necrophilia in pop music – although Robyn Hitchcock comes a close second” – BugBear
