“Don’t quit;” a phrase easier said than done. From the age of 5, Andrew Carlton was playing T-Ball & hearing it from his father. He recalls dropping out of college at Tennessee to pursue music, “Don't Quit' was in my head so I had to finish.” Soon after, Andrew sat in a class of graduates as the speaker stated “Don’t quit.” Tested by those words recently, he was ready to lay it all down. “I’d signed with 2 labels. Both bankrupted & I was weary.” So Andrew hit the studio one last time to record his final project. The single hit radio in spring of ’07 & in only weeks, Jesus Hold Me broke the Billboard AC Top 20 and went on to become the highest charting single by an indie artist in 2007. His new album hits stores nation-wide this summer.
