I started playing drums at age 8. At 16, with the help of some friends, I taught myself the acoustic guitar, and before long was leading songs for my church youth group and youth camps. I wrote my first song just a few months after taking up the guitar, and haven't stopped since. I've written or co-written about 80 songs and am in the process of recording these to make them available to the public. In addition to acoustic guitar, I also play electric guitar, bass, and percussion, as well as singing my own vocals and background vocals. A sampling of some of my most recent work, as well as some older material, is available here on Reverb Nation. I enjoy leading worship in churches, and also playing my songs for friends and fans, and am available for concerts, retreats, and any venues open to music that probes the deeper questions of life and gives praise to our gracious creator and savior.
To hear my older music, check out Young Morgan Trotter also here on Reverb Nation.
