Ken Lintern and Julian Wilson are songwriters looking to have their material covered by artists across many genres.
Ken writes the music - then sings, records and produces the songs. Julian writes the lyrics.
Both writers are open to considering any offers of solo or collaboration projects.
Ken runs 13 Music Productions and 13 Sound Studios in Weston-Super-Mare, North Somerset. He has decades of experience in all aspects of the recording and music promotion business.
Ken still performs professionally throughout the Somerset and Bristol areas.
He also provides a song demo service for other songwriters and has recently taken charge of a full professional recording and rehearsal studio.
Julian has been writing songs seriously for 15 years, because like Ken, he is a very prolific songwriter, he faced the problem of being able to write one song after another, but did not have a band, financial resources, recording skills or vocal ability (due to a childhood accident) to get his songs recorded and mastered to a professional level.
After much frustration, he decided the best way forward was to seek out a talented tunesmith who was more than capable of doing everything he could not, and form a songwriting partnership.
At about that time, Ken placed an advert for a lyricist in the International Songwriters Association (ISA) Newsletter.
Julian (who is also a member) replied. Both men have never looked back.
Right from the start great songs started to come off the production line and early songs have been covered by Robert Garnay on Optimum Records (Cannes, Portofino) as well as Ken's great Mario Lanza style epic 'Ghost of Napoli' covered again by Garnay, and shortly afterwards by Bruce Anderson on his debute album - It became BBC Wales record of the week and is still played extensively.
In truth, both men can write strong songs with no help from the other.
What has changed recently, is that top class recording equipment has been purchased, and the quality of each finished song is now at radio play standard.
Shortly, a full country album (and more) will be available for purchase, so please come back and watch this space!
Thanks for the visit!
