Tim Brickley and the Bleeding Hearts / Bio

Tim Brickley is a singer/songwriter, producer/engineer and rock/jazz bandleader from Indianapolis, IN. He writes songs w/ Seattle-based poet and visual artist David Rheins.
Founded in 1990, The Bleeding Hearts is an ever-shifting collective of generous and amazing musicians that has recorded two albums of Brickley/Rheins material: "Be apart." (1995) and "Everything that ever was." (2005).
Tim owns and produces a wide variety of projects at his studio in the happening Sobro area of Indianapolis, Hit City Recording, including his "Different Beat Radio" show/podcast, which is available at www.timbrickley,com and on iTunes.
He sings jazz with his Quintet and Big Band, and is a longtime collaborator with Bryan Fonseca at the Phoenix Theatre in Indianapolis, as musical director, sound designer and composer. As actor, he starred in the Phoenix 2010 original production "Pure Prine".
