From the gritty and glamourous club scene emerges Boston-based artist, Pocket Tanya. Penning his first song at age seven, Pocket honed his skills as a singer/song-writer at Full Sail University in Winter Park Florida. He worked in audio production by day while show-casing his unique cutting-edge queer stage performance by night in the Orlando club circuit under the moniker, Ricky Diamond. In 2010, Ricky Diamond combined forces with Daniel Roney to create the infamous Diamond Dolls, a fierce electronic pop duo. Upon relocating to Massachusetts the next year, Pocket linked up with long time friend, DJ/ promoter Riley "$upaUgly" Syrus to throw a weekly party at Gloucester hot spot, Dog Bar, appropriately called "What Nice!" In the summer of 2013, Pocket brought a vibrant queer scene to the North Shore with his next party, "Closet Case". This year's much- anticipated print release of album, "Junkie Pop" marks Pocket Tanya's official Boston debut. An artist by many names, Rick Dickie, Pintle Lee, etc...Pocket Tanya is the villain of pop music.
