Channel Cats / Bio

Formed originally in the 1980's, The Channel Cats have been thrilling audiences with their good-time party brand of music throughout portions of the Mid-Atlantic region. The Channel Cats entertain year round with a mix of musical styles: soulful sounds from Motown, the doo-wop of the 50's, the danceable rock & roll from the '60's and '70's as well as blues. Performances can be tailored for most occasions, including acoustic band performances. Audience participation is always encouraged whether it's a packed club, a corporate affair, a family friendly house party or a festival/concert crowd.

The band brings a key ingredient of musical and vocal versatility, along with years of performing experience from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and throughout Maryland. The Channel Cats carry and can provide their own lighting and P.A. for small to medium sized corporate/private bookings and club/restaurant dates when needed.
