Bridges Burnt is a modern rock band hailing from the desolate cracks of northern Missouri. Formed in 2007, the band initially started as a competition band, but soon realized the potential was much greater considering the diverse talent which infiltrated the practice room. Along with influences from bands such as Tool, Audioslave, Shinedown, and Sevendust, Aaron Franklin (vocals), Chris Cowell (guitar), Dan Woody (bass), and Toby Puffer (drums) brought experience from previous bands that make Bridges Burnt one of the most noticeable rock acts to come out of northern Missouri. The band released their debut CD (Border Trash) on March of 2014, and is creating an ever-increasing fan base with their mesmerizing live performances. The band won a "Cover Wars" competition in Kansas City (2012), which immediately began to open doors for the group. The guys scored opening acts with the "chainsaw" rockers Jackyl, up-and-coming national act Like A Storm, and the '80s hair-rockers, Great White and Warrant. Bridges Burnt has expanded to a more regional footprint with their live performances that includes Kansas City, St Louis, Des Moines. In late 2013 the group moved on to the finals of the "Battle for Freaker's Ball", which was a competition in Kansas City for an opportunity to open 98.9 (KQRC) The Rock's "Freaker's Ball" in 2013. They competed against primarily Kansas City bands where they finished 2nd out of 34 bands. To finish out 2014 the group debuted at Throttlefest Kansas City and was support for the new group Maximus in August. They made their first ever trip to Illinois for two shows in early September, and in October they shared the stage with the new super group Devil City Angels. In early 2015 they got an opportunity to be a part of an acoustic web show put on by Studio 3 Productions out of Lone Jack, MO, where they were one of 13 artists chosen to not only record a song, but also have the session professionally videotaped. In April of 2015 the guys had three (3) nominations for Kansas City’s Project Backstage Midwest Music Awards (Guitarist of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, and Rock Band of the Year) where they were voted as Rock Band of the Year! The band used 2015 to work on new music and play some new venues in the Midwest, namely being one of the bands added to the main stage at the Grand River Rally in Urich, MO. The band had some opening act opportunities getting a chance to share the stage with Jon Corabi (former front man for Motley Crue) and Art of Dying. The band began working on their latest single for release in 2016 doing their tracking at Studio 3 Productions in Lone Jack, MO. There is a lot of material in the works for 2016 with a hopeful follow-up EP released in early 2016.
