Rapping since 07' GtheDon (Adam Gonzalez) has always held lyrics in the highest regard when it comes to writing a song. "It dont always gotta be hook verse hook verse or screamin white or crack over the track, even though there is an audience for that and it does get love what its really about is listening to your beat on loop for hours and just writing what flows out, its non-stop, its real, its hip-hop and i love that"
As a half Puerto Rican and half white artist G wasnt always accepted as a rapper, and each time he was critisized it just gave him the motivation and inspiration to write some of the truly great songs he has today. Thanks to raw musical talent, and a love for exploring new things, over the years G has picked up alot of musical knowledge ( He plays the guitar, drums, piano, bass, and even sings on occasion ) and wishes to incorporate all of that knowledge into his music.
With hits like Smells Like Money, The Recipe, and The kings are Back the epic return of Visa Blackcard (Jacquese Chambers) and a return to the amazing collaborations they had back in 08', The two have a master plan to release over 30 recently written songs in bursts all leading up to G's classic hit "Elevator"
G has a very unique perspective of the game today and the changes its going through in the modern age "rap is evolving, its always been evolving but rap today is undergoing its biggest change ever, the socially excepted image of what a rapper should be is changing. The barriers of race, nationality, gender, and sexual orientation are starting to recede, words are starting to stand on their own and talent recognized for what it is not what it looks like. With that change is a new generation of MC's that will carry on rap and hip hop for decades to come . These MCs wont be judged by the color of their skin or their nationalities but by their contributions to rap and their lyrical prowess. My hopes are that my words spark a new generation of MC's that aren't afraid to put their words out their in fear of ridicule/ and criticisms."
Watch for G the Don in the near future, his lyrical prowess and raw inspirational energy when doing what he loves, alone is cause enough to respect what he does.
