Tricksy / Bio

Tricksy is a project created by Julie Clark in 2009. Julie started her music career in Atlanta in the early 90's and was soon touring with the likes of Wendy Bucklew and Lift as a bass player and backing vocalist. It was in 1998 when she was tapped by Shawn Mullins to play bass in promotion of his new self-released (now Platinum) record. She has shared the stage with the Indigo Girls, Chris Isaak and Hootie and the Blowfish and has made appearances on the Tonight Show, the Rosie O'Donnell Show, VH1's Hard Rock Live and television appearances all over western Europe. This road tested veteran now seeks to blaze her own unique trail with her new band by bringing a unique sound and experienced songwriting skills. Tricksy is changing their sound to create songs that are tailored to a mass audience and cleverly crafted for use in Film and Television.
