Andy Nolte is a self-taught musician from Corpus Christi, Texas. He utilizes keyboards and guitars as his primary instruments although he's a student of several others. His eclectic taste span many genres as do his musical influences; David Bowie, George Gershwin, Frank Zappa, Gilberto Puente, and Herbie Hancock are among his favorites today.
Born into a family full of musicians, Andy began playing around 1994 with his first bass guitar. Since 2005 he's been living and performing in Austin, Texas where he founded the experimental rock group Mostly Dead. In addition to performing in the David Bowie tribute group Super Creeps; he also performs as a solo artist, as well as in the R&B/ soul group Soul Track Mind, the pseudo cabaret act Mistress Stephanie & Her Melodic Cat, the progressive rock group Genius Mistake, the rock group Sam Arnold & the Secret Keepers, and the Afrobeat group Khali Haat. Recently dubbed the "Linda Ronstadt of keyboards", Andy continues to keep busy collaborating on a wide variety of projects in the local Austin music scene.
