"Takin' It Back" , Music and Lyrics by JORDON ASH---Music to be added soon

His father was a collector of Elvis films and “Viva Las Vegas” starring Elvis and Ann-Margret, was one of the first films he saw. From that point on, he knew he wanted to be involved in entertainment. Jordon stepped before his first live audience in a 3rd grade talent show singing “Splish Splash” and chose two back up singers for the show. A year later, entered a local festival-- Buffalo Bill Days in Golden CO where I won singing “Hound Dog”. Then in 2000, was given the opportunity to perform solo “One Moment in Time” for the graduating class of Golden High School. Jordon's also performed for shows such as: Six Flags Elitch Gardens main stage in “Broadway Rhythm", Casa Bonita's Denver's leading theme restaurant in there music review shows, and UPN 20 Television Contest—Gimme The Mike Season 1, and represented Las Vegas in the Texaco Country Showdown State Finals. Some inspiring mentors while growing up include: John Klug--High School theater teacher, Heidi Hauser Juran-- 3rd grade teacher, Diane Bergeron--6th grade teacher, and Eric Weinstein--music teacher

"I do this because having a role in creating memorable moments in others lives means a lot to me. Be it writing a song that brings a couple together for there first dance, the song a couple chooses for there wedding, the song someone chooses to sing at there graduation to sum up there entire experience and more. Music has the power to move us in a way nothing else can. It would mean a lot to me to have the chance to do this on a mainstream level, reaching a broad audience, and creating something memorable on stage and in every song".

"In my 20’s, life was quite a struggle with making ends meet so I wasn't able to put much attention on music as I would have liked. I did consistently perform, but I never pushed it to the level I am now. Now I’m completely driven, committed, and focused on moving forward with music in both performance and songwriting."

"I believe we all have a talent. It's up to us to discover what that is and how to turn it into something others can benefit from. Turn your greatest quality and what you enjoy the most into something that will financially carry you. As long as you have the basic essentials, the rest can really be attracted to you-- the right people, right conditions, right events, and the knowledge you need to sustain it and keep it growing. Keep changing your approach until it happens. And be open to how your desired intention happens. A big inspiration for me is Thomas Edison. He found hundreds of ways of how not to make a light bulb---the key is he never gave up until his creation finally worked."
