Cyndi Craven / Bio

Cyndi Craven — singer, songwriter and ‘ukulele emissary’ — is a longtime member of Atlanta’s music community, as a performer and venue entertainment manager. The latter includes co-running the Great Southeast Freight Room in Decatur in the ’80s and ’90s with Tom Wolf, and eight years managing the music at Lena’s Place Coffeehouse.

Cyndi performs solo on occasion but is most often seen and heard with other artists, especially as one-third of the popular local trio, “Just Be’Cause,” with Bruce Gilbert and Jerry Brunner. JB’C’s music has been described as “beautiful originals and cover tune makeovers with piano, guitar, ukulele and 3-part harmonies that’ll roll your socks down!”

Early, Cyndi recent digital release, contains 18 songs, and includes music from her two earlier (but no longer available) CDs, Lessons and Chase The Moon (with Tom Wolf), plus four singles, including the song written by her cat. Early is available on Bandcamp.com in your choice of high quality digital download formats. Individual songs may be purchased as well. (Some physical copies will be available at live shows.)

Cyndi is currently in the studio and promises “new music real soon… with plenty of ukulele!” Be sure and Join Cyndi’s email list to get announcements about shows and new music releases.
