A Life In Arm's Reach (ALIAR) is a five piece Pop/Punk band hailing from Dallas, Texas. Joining together from the remains of two local bands, ALIAR was born in December of 2012. A Life In Arm's Reach currently consists of vocalist Randy Jarrard, guitarists Ezra Rendall and Cash Trujillo, bassist Luis Rolong, and drummer Alan Pfaff. The band began writing and soon after released three songs with the help of Andy Gomoll and Machine Shop Productions (Fall Out Boy, As I Lay Dying, Gym Class Heroes, Chiodos, ect.).
In the summer of 2014, the band began writing a brand new album, and entered the studio again with Andy Gomoll, this time with the help of Jeff Schneeweis (Anberlin, Hawthorne Heights, Number One Gun) rounding out the mixes. They brought together all of the musicians different background to create a new sound that would move both new and old fans in the music community. The LP "Vintage Postcards", will be released in June of 2015.
With the release of the new album and sound, A Life In Arm's Reach plans to continue playing shows and touring the country spreading their brand of music through the masses. They have played with many musical powerhouses at a variety of venues in the past few years, and will be soon coming to a city near you.
A Life In Arm's Reach has shared the stage with Chunk! No Captain Chunk, Hit the Lights, Slaves, Johnny Craig, To the Wind, In Her Own Words, The JC Allstars, Stolas, Strawberry Girls, Stanley and the Search, and many more over the past few years. They have also played at many famous venues including Gas Monkey Bar & Grill, Trees Dallas, Curtain Club, Tomcats West, The Door Dallas, Prophet Bar, Gilleys/Southside Ballroom, The Rail Club, and many more. The band is also currently in the running to play the Vans Warped Tour 2015.
