Members: Patrick Hackett: Guitar/Vocals. Pat comes from a musical family, coming here from Chicago during the Westward movement of many jazz musicians during Portland's hot Swing Era. His father was a drummer and his mother, a vocalist, both swing and opera. Pat has degrees in music and electrical engineering and is our expert sound man as well as playing Guitar, Bass, Dobro, Piano, Drums and Vocals
Sandy Young: Baritone Uke/Vocals/Percussion. Sandy's love of swing began with early childhood memories of dancing in the grass while her Daddy's HonkyTonk Swing Band played on a hand-built stage in the middle of a farmer's field in Indiana. Sandy loves all things Swing- the music, the dances, the fashion, the movies, the jive talk....and the hats.
Tim Acott: Upright Bass/Vocals. Tim grew up on a farm near Polecat Bench Wyoming. (you can tell by looking at him) Tim plays bass and also sings bass in one of the deepest musical rumblings around. He has played as a full time professional musician since 1990 with local musicians and groups including Pete Krebs, Reggie Houston, Golden Delicious, Little Sue and many more. Now playing with The Kung Pao Chickens, Dan Haley Friendharmonic Orchestra, Jake Ray & The Cowdogs, Jim Boyer Band, The Portland Ravens, The RidgeRunners, Reggie Houston's Box of Chocolates, Pagan Jug Band & Jeepers Creepers.
