Boston, Massachusetts based solo artist, Scotty Dunbar:

In May 2012, Down Boys Records, owned and operated by Jerry Dixon and Erik Turner of Warrant, released Scotty Dunbar’s solo EP “In A Mellow Mood.” The EP featured such guest performances by Michael Sweet of Stryper and Louis St August of MASS. “In A Mellow Mood” debuted at the following positions on Amazon: # 1 on the “Hot New Releases In Pop Rock Chart,” # 1 on the ”Hot New Releases In Euro Pop Chart,” and #3 on the “Best Sellers In Euro Pop Chart.”

“In A Mellow Mood” was met with rave reviews from critics and music fans worldwide. Dunbar performed several shows in support of “In A Mellow Mood,” including headlining performances and also opened for acclaimed 80’s rockers, Danger Danger. In December 2012, Dunbar joined forces with the band, Burning Heat and released a heavy metal take on the Christmas classic, “Let It Snow.” “Let It Snow” hit radio stations nationally and was met with rave reviews.

2013 promises to be a very busy year for Scotty Dunbar. On March 8th, 2013, Dunbar released a brand new single, entitled “Here’s To Rock N Roll,” which was available exclusively at the Station Fire Memorial Foundation Comedy Show, held at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, Rhode Island. All proceeds from CDs sold that night went directly to the Station Fire Memorial Foundation. “Here’s To Rock N Roll” will be added as one of two new bonus songs on the upcoming re-release of “In A Mellow Mood” scheduled to be released independently in June of 2013. As of late, “Here To Rock N Roll” has been added to several FM and internet-based radio stations across the country.

Plasma Films will be releasing a new documentary entitled “Scotty Dunbar – The Fire That Won’t Go…Out.” The film is being directed by Brian Ouelette, a two-time Telly Award winner.

In the past, Scotty Dunbar has opened for such national acts as Michael Sweet of Stryper, White Lion, Lynch Mob, Danger Danger and various others. Dunbar is set to launch his upcoming solo tour entitled “Life In Reverse” on June 9th, 2013 at Voices Rock Club in Lowell, MA. The “Life In Reverse” Tour has over a dozen dates booked across the USA including stops in such states as New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, California, Nebraska and Colorado.
