Boston based THE HERLAND BROTHERS BAND is a premier modern Country Rock cover/original band. HB's high energy performances continue to wow and electrify audiences from Maine to New York, with their unique ability to cover todays country rock hits vocally and musically, matching the original artist renditions. The band’s original music continues to also excite, leading the Boston Globe to write “A band on the rise with a bright future”. The HB band has performed as either the headliner and/or as an opener for national acts all over the Northeast, including shows at the legendary CBGB's in New York City.
The five member HB band is made up of the three Herland brothers Frank, Scott and John, all with many years experience in the music world including radio, television, commercial recordings, studio and live concerts. Joining the brothers are experienced, professional musicians, drummer Dickie Paris and bass player Dan McGrath. The Herland's debut CD release "One Small Step" was utilized in 2006 on TLC's nationally televised cable program "Perfect Proposal". The Herland Brothers made a huge mark in the New England Country Music scene in 2012 ..In July 2012 they were asked to open for Country Superstar Joe Nichols. In September 2012 The Herland Brothers were featured on WCVB's television program Chronicle as a Country Rock band to watch...Also selected in September 2012 to perform at the Red Sox Josh Beckett Bowl at The House Of Blues Boston and they headlined at The Kenny Chesney/ Tim McGraw Countryfest 102.5 WKLB Pre-party at The Hard Rock Cafe Boston. HB has shared the stage with Jerrod Niemann, Randy Houser & Bret Michaels.
