In January 2013, Trent Taormina and Chris Howell began putting a project together that would become Fallen Kings. Blending Trent's solid blues riffs and Chris's aggressive drums, they put out an ad for a singer. Thinking they were getting kicked out of a local bar, they were surprised the would be bouncer was in fact, Angus Wolfe. Angus brought in gritty bass tone vocals and powerful delivery. Next, they added Chris's old friend Woody on rhythm guitar. As a final piece, Mike was brought on to deliver the bass line, and the original line up was set.
The Fallen Kings began doing shows late summer of 2013 delivering a mix of blues, metal, beer, and good times. Towards the end of 2013, Preston was brought in as a third guitarist, bringing a mix of thrash and blues into the fold. They spent the rest of 2013 writing material and playing shows all the while getting ready for some much needed studio time.
In Early 2014, The Kings would enter The Foundry in Sumner, WA to begin work on an album. Brotherhood of Bone was completed and released in the summer of the same year. At this point, the Kings were starting to spread out of western Washington into the surrounding region.Playing from Spokane, WA to Eugene, OR, The Fallen Kings were gaining momentum.
2015 would be the most challenging year for the band. Spring saw the departure of original guitarist, Trent. At this point, the Kings decided to continue as a five piece instead of six. In the midst of writing the second album, Preston had also departed the band. The search was on for a new guitarist.
New Years Day 2016 saw the announcement of Jesse as the new guitarist joining the Kings. Jesse kicked up the energy again bringing unpredictable solos and heavy blues based riffs. The Kings hit the ground running again in March of 2016, and have begun writing and recording their second studio album.
