Jonathan Brooks was raised in Thomaston Ga. He grew up singing in his hometown church. He always had a passion for music but it wasn't until he started leading worship at the age of 18 that he found his love of performing. He recently graduated from the University of Georgia. Athens is where he started his solo musical career. He learned how to play and entertain crowds by playing in bars throughout Georgia. He moves to Nashville in March to pursue a publishing deal. His songwriting is a blend of styles from Country legends George Straight, Alan Jackson to Allman Brothers, Marshall Tucker Band and even Usher and the Backstreet Boys. His wide range of influences come from the sounds he heard growing up. He has co writes with Marty Evans, Daniel Lee, Jess Franklin and more.
