Megan LuRose is a singer/songwriter from the Philadelphia Region. Megan is releasing her latest CD, “Something to Believe In” recorded in the Spring of 2013 at Buckeye Recording in South Philadelphia. The CD is produced by Jimmy Pritchard and engineered by Peter Richan. “Something to Believe In” features the talents of local Philly favorites such as Mikey Jr., Cowmuddy, Adam Stranburg and Frank Butrey. Megan’s new sound is folk-rock with eclectic influences of blues, world and country music. The new CD includes up-beat danceable tunes as well as touching, lyrical ballads. Megan’s music has been aired on WXPN’s Folk Show in an interview with guest host Chuck Elliot and on WMIZ, Vineland. Fans will enjoy a fun-filled event showcasing this artist as one of Philadelphia’s up and coming musical talents. A tour in support of the new CD is planned for the Spring/Summer of 2014.
