Some people in life really do come "full circle". Such is the case with the alternative music band "Centre the Image". The group, consisting of singer/songwriters J. Scott Steele and masmailin, met in the United States Army twenty-five years ago. The pair began taking it to the streets of Heidelberg, Germany with guitars and original songs. Their efforts culminated with the lo-fi indie recording "19th and DuPont". The debut was recorded in Germany by an Englishman whom they met in an Irish pub! Then, a circumstance called--life--sent the band mates on separate paths for the next twenty- three years. In the spring of 2013, the pair came that "full circle" and reunited to write a new song called "Big" in late April. It was like they'd never been apart. The unique combination of high- minded lyrics and accessible-- yet very distinct guitar signatures and riffs has been met with positive responses so far in the band's few public appearances. The present time for the pair is exciting--with the future seeming to promise even more!
