J*MIAH was declared and orphan at the age of three after his mother died of cancer and his father was put in prison. Shortly after this occurred he was placed under the guardianship of his grandparents. It was a blessing that his grandparents were able to take him in, because the only other option was an orphanage. He had an extremely rough start to life. From this point on there was a constant void. Now his grandparents were strong believers in Jesus Christ and kept him in church growing up, but to him it was always just a weekly routine and he didn’t try to receive anything from it. Throughout his life he experienced a feeling of numbness. He looked to friends and popularity to fill the void. This did not work; he still felt alone and eventually started to feel suicidal. He thought “why not? I’m alone in this world anyways”. However, an incredibly strong foundation was being created by God. He fought through the hard times and stayed strong. He knew he wasn’t left here alone. There was an amazing purpose for his life. God filled the void he was experiencing for so long. As he grew up he stayed active in the church. He had a God given gift of music. He started drumming for a worship team and learned what it was to be the heart beat. Music was a talent that was not taught to him, it was something that was already inside of him. He developed a strong love for singing and began to write his own songs. He has a testimony, he has something to share, and he has a purpose behind his struggles. He will be used to reach the masses with his music. J*MIAH was given a prophecy, that he was going to use his music to reach the world. He was going to travel and that everyone who doubted him was going to wonder how he did it. At 18 years old God gave him a vision that was just that. Now, a few years later this prophecy, this vision, It’s become Reality. J*MIAH is now one of the most talented new artists arising and he is using his talents to glorify God.
