Bloated RoadKill / Bio

Bloated RoadKill was conceived in late 2008 at a Christmas party at mutual friend and fellow Reading School District educator, Tim Covert's house. After several hours of partying, Tim, who had been thinking of finding live music for a party he was planning for the spring, said "Hey, Wayne... you play guitar, right? And Rik... you play bass, right? And Rick, you play drums, and Phil sings. OK, then... you're our band!"

We agreed to play at Tim's next party, and when we got together for our first practice session, we had a lot of fun... and just kept playing! We are proud to have improved since then from "really, really bad" to just "bad". Hence our name, Bloated RoadKill, and our motto -- We sound as good as our namesake smells!

Yes, we started a little late in life, and our members' birthdays span three decades, but we have a great time recording at Rotting Carcass Studios (e.g. Possum's basement) in Brecknock Township, Berks County, PA. Check out our latest originals posted on our website.
