H.O.P.E. is a band name and a movement. We are H.O.P.E. The songs are written to bring hope and encouragement to the suffering and the discouraged. H.O.P.E.'s ambition is to fill in the gaps. To see where a song can speak to a situation or where a word can heal a broken heart. All the band members are going through struggles like anyone else and their desire is grow alongside those they are speaking to. When H.O.P.E. hits the road their biggest desire is to meet people, sit down, grab a cup of coffee, and share life stories. Everyone has a story, everyone is significant, everyone is in need of some real talk and encouragement. So let's talk.
H.O.P.E. was started by Ryan Odle and David Donaldson during the creation of the single "Revolution of Compassion." In a moment of inspiration, Ryan wrote the song to support the non-profit organization, Convoy of Hope, in their international work to eradicate world hunger. Ryan brought together a project band to record the single. The song project led Ryan and David to start the band H.O.P.E. with Deborah Tadesse coming on board shortly after.
H.O.P.E. is built upon four pillars. Humility, Obedience, Passion, and Everyone. Each band member aspires to fulfill the first three pillars so they can be a benefit to everyone. Currently H.O.P.E. is in the building stages and made up of Ryan Odle (piano, synth), David Donaldson (drums), and Deborah Tadesse (guitar, vocals). The H.O.P.E. members can be a little crazy at times so they look forward to having a good time during and after the show.
We are H.O.P.E.!
