Colin Graebert is a freelance pianist working the Greater Bangor area. A versatile musician, Colin works as a music director, jazz pianist, vocalist, choral accompanist/director and is currently employed by four school systems.
To date Colin has music directed/accompanied over 30 musical theatre productions including Les Miserables, Beauty and the Beast, Tommy and Penobscot Theatre's 2009 box-office smash Forever Plaid. He has also served as a consultant for several productions including Spunk and Disconnected, both performed at Penobscot Theatre.
Colin is also one of the most active members of the Greater Bangor Jazz scene. He has appeared with numerous artists and is frequently hired to provide live entertainment. He is also the keyboard player for the funk/fusion ensemble The Aurora Jazz Project.
The backbone of Colin's work is in choral accompaniment. He currently conducts the Ellsworth High School Jazz Choir and accompanies eight school choirs, the Bangor Community Choir, the choir of the North-Brewer-Eddington United Methodist Church and a sacred music quartet.
