The Usrey Brother's ,Tim and Tanner Usrey are an acoustic duo made up of two brothers from Prosper, Texas. They come from two different generations of country music. Tim, leaning more towards the old school outlaw styling of Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson meets Texas Country greats like Pat Green and Walt Wilkins mixed with a little bit of Jamey Johnson and Shooter Jennings for a style all his own. Tim, the eldest of the two brother's has been playing guitar since his college days at OU. After returning home to Texas, Tim went from playing local open mic shows and song swaps to being asked to open for other local musicians.
Tanner ,the youngest of the two brother's has only been playing guitar for a short time. But just like his brother, Tanner has fallen in love with music. Tanner leaning more towards the likes of Brandon Rhyder,Whiskey Myers, and Mickey and the Motor Cars meets Wade Bowen. Tanner following in his brother's foot steps started playing open mic shows as well. Soon Tanner too had a following, this got the brothers to thinking. "What if we combined our talents and our fans?"
