Fiction 20 Down (aka F20D) deliver “an incredibly cool brand of music” – Skope Magazine
F20D’s chief songwriter Jordan Lally leads the charge with a vocal delivery that effortlessly twists & turns between the croon of pop star & the swagger of an emcee. Drummer Dre Toney adds to F20D’s vocal portfolio with soulful harmonies and a smooth, deep-set hip-hop delivery. The groove-inducing foundation of the F20D sound is laid by bassist Deejmon, while Wes Anderson adds the edge with his precise lead guitar play.
Throughout 2012, the east coast bred 4-piece shared their “delightful, upbeat, soothing rock fusion mix” (Indie Music Review) while on a US tour in support of their ‘Do Not Feed The Radio’ EP. The 5-song release received critical acclaim from a wide variety of publications, including being dubbed “best new release” by the renowned international music blog Indie Rock Cafe. Now with 2013 in full swing, the band looks forward to touring behind their brand new studio release ‘Where’s The Levity?’. The full-length album was recorded in Baltimore MD, produced by Jordan and co-produced by Drew Mazurek (Linkin Park, MTV).
When not on stage or in studio, Fiction 20 Down emphasize the importance of giving back. In addition to their various “hands-on” volunteer efforts, the band has played benefit concerts for over 30 charitable organizations since their inception.
