For thousands of years, the White Bison has been a token of prosperity, good-health, and happiness for Native America. Today, White Bison the Band lives up to its name, bringing these attributes to the modern music culture. They are leading a movement that has spread across the Lone Star State, of contemporary Southern music. This blend of Folk, Country, Bluegrass, Funk and Indie is re-defining what pop music is, and can be. White Bison aims to inspire its listeners with positivety, liveliness and thought provoking lyrics, sculpting a revolutionary, yet catchy sound. Formed by Ethan Dorsett and Jesse Haynes in March 2012, the group's main priority is to share their passion for the Musician's craft with the masses.
About the Members:
Jesse Haynes- Lead Vocals
Haynes is a born and raised Texan. A lifetime vocalist, he picked up guitar six years ago, under the influences of Dave Matthews Jim James and Merle Haggard. He formed White Bison in 2012 with Ethan Dorsett with the dream of bringing their unique sound to the masses.
Ethan Dorsett- Lead Guitar
Dorsett hails from Fort Worth, Texas, a city of diverse cultures that lives and breathes music. He began playing the guitar at a young age, inspired by an encounter with Sir Paul McCartney. He formed White Bison with friend and fellow musician Jesse Haynes in 2012.
Mark Randall- Bass
Mark Randall first began playing music at the age of fourteen. He has performed in a wide variety of musical groups with genres that include gospel, country, jazz, and rock. Mark joined White Bison as their bassist in March 2013.
Martin Morgan- Keyboards
Morgan grew up in Plano, Texas. Having started piano lessons at age seven, he intensified his studies in High School. Currently, Martin is a student studying composition at the University of North Texas. Classically trained, Morgan appreciates a traditional approach to music. However, he attributes the majority of his musicality to jazz and gospel music, which highlights his unique contribution to White Bison.
John Hollinger- Rhythm Guitar/Vocals
John began his musical ventures way back in the Fourth Grade. He developed his musical persona by picking up guitar, bass, ukelele and piano. Hollinger later went on to attend Colorado State University as a Music Education major. He met Haynes over ten years ago, and has performed with him on and off ever since.
