DISCLAIMER - THIS BIO IS WRITTEN THE WAY 3 EAST INTENDS IT TO BE INTERPRETED - PROPER FORMAT NOT ADVISED -
3 East is a NYC band with a genuine weapon in the form of front-man Daniel Joshua, whose voice and guitar can go from a high-wire howl to a tender whisper and back. Daniel Joshua's band-mate from former band Clear Stand, bass player “Robal” joins 3 East, and adds a sudden contrast to the band's unique alternative rock racket, which leans often on brashness and smoothness.
The founding member of 3E (only cause he's oldest..:-), Daniel Joshua's biological Uncle, known to the world simply as Uncle D, delivers the thunderous backbone to this trio’s rock hard sound. Having two songwriters in the band with the relationship of uncle / nephew explains the dimension of their lyric and melodies.
Currently unsigned, 3 East has always had their emphasis on song writing and playing music that makes people who listen to it happy not horny - lol <------- couldn't help it...
This is the band's first project and they're pouring a lot into it.
"We take our song writing very seriously and do not compromise anything about what we do for social acceptance. All our songs and melodies are original."
"We really have a great fan base and we know that one day we'll be able to accomplish the greater things in the life of a BIG Band."
"People say that sometimes our songs sound familiar; well, we believe that this is a complement of huge proportion. The fact that one of our songs are going to stay with you with the familiarity and remembrance is exactly what we're looking to achieve. It's ethereal."
"Our non-conforming yet structured originality is by far the main reason we do what we do. Because we love it, for nothing else."
"We make music on our own terms. Not answering to anyone."
3 East welcomes all callers interested in our music and we are looking for a deal with cool people, who like us the way we are, and that can see equitable nature of mass distribution.
"Got to mention it - all parties please carry the understanding that under no circumstances would we give up the copyrights to any of our songs."
If you like what you hear, We look forward to a conversation, if not, we hope you enjoy the music, but our music has no compromise.
All the best - 3 East
