Emma Bacon is a singer-songwriter from southeast Georgia, the 2015 GA Music Award Winner in the Youth Country/Rock category, and a nominee for the 2015 Georgia-Country Teen Artist of the Year Award. Emma has been singing at festivals throughout southeast Georgia since she was four years old, and she is taking her career to the next level by writing, recording, and performing her own music. She recently completed a songwriting program with Barbara Cloyd, host of the Bluebird Cafe Open Mic in Nashville, Tennessee, and she recorded her first EP at Dog Den Studios in Nashville with Bill McDermott. She is currently training with Renee Grant-Williams, one of the best vocal coaches in Nashville, and she is working with Rick Barker, former manager of Taylor Swift, to learn how to navigate the music industry. Her first song "Free-Falling" was featured on the new artist spotlight at 99.1 WQIK in Jacksonville, Florida and on the Local Licks at Six show at Dixie Country 106.7 out of Douglas, Georgia.
