FoWlMoUtH drummer Tom Selear knows the POWER OF SUGGESTION. After decades of playing in every type of band imaginable all over Northern California, he decided to return to his hometown of Kenosha, WI in the summer of 2012. The first thing out of Tom's mouth upon reuniting with old friends Guy Crucianelli (ex drummer for Old Junk) and Jeff Moody (ex howler from See Spot Run, where Tom played drums) was "We should get a band together." Before long, they recruited two more old pals, guitar torturer Steve Smith (ex Suppositones, Dirty Ramirez) and David Aiello, the rock star bassist of local legends Ash Can School.
Within a few short months, FoWlMoUtH assembled a dozen noisy original songs about smart-mouthed, broken-hearted people, driving while drinking and eating fried chicken in Chicago, evidence of a biological connection between members of The Ramones, among other things people do not typically write songs about. They sound like a band trapped in a boxcar full of amplifiers and chicken coops rolling down a hill made of scrap iron. They play like they own the place, and they inevitably do.
