The Last Ride Band is a country rock band born and raised in the Midwest, based out of St. Paul, MN. Passionate about writing original country music, The Last Ride has been writing, performing, and recording their music all over the Midwest after just a few short years together. Already working on their third full-length album due in the fall of 2013, they have been cutting their teeth in every honkytonk and dive bar in the Midwest the past few years. As they continued to pay their dues in country music, TLR started receiving requests to open for national acts on tour that were coming through the Midwest.
The Last Ride’s music embraces country rock as well as traditional country to produce their own style and sound, which reflects their Midwest roots. Coming from writing sessions and singer songwriter acoustic performances, they’ve made their way to sharing the stages, arenas, and airwaves with the likes of Lady Antebellum, Lee Brice, Joe Nichols, Jerrod Neimann, Phil Vassar, Steve Holy, Sara Evans, and the living legend Alan Jackson.
In addition to that, TLR has also played to a sold out Target Field for a Minnesota Twins home game and garnered national radio play on many country music radio stations. Their bellwether song, “Take You Down”, was picked up by Game Mill Productions, and was then released for the smash hit video game “Country Dance 2” and “Country Dance All-Stars” for the Nintendo Wii and XBOX 360 Kinect.
Knocking on the door of Music Row, all The Last Ride needs is a chance and someone to believe in them, because the reason they’ve gotten this far is they believe in themselves, and they know and respect the roots of country music, while seemingly blazing a new, but blue collar Midwestern trail that many people haven’t gotten to hear. Please stay tuned for any and all upcoming releases from TLR as they continue to do what they love: play original country music.
