Amy comes from a musically talented set of parents (Tinki and Tom White from Corn Crib) and has sung with
them their whole lives.
Amy is a lifelong resident of the Richmond area and has always been interested in
the local Richmond music scene. Having had close friends in several local bands in
the 90's, Amy is finally taking her own leap as a member of this band. Amy is going
from groupie to singer/songwriter and invites you to come along on her musical journey.
Rick met Amy at a bluegrass jam and became fast friends as Rick likes to play all sorts of
music, not just bluegrass. He then met Virginia and they've been playing ever since.
Virginia was part of the 90's music scene in Duluth, MN. She was a member of
Charming Snakes, Guiljunko, and The End. Virginia is a singer/songwriter who took
the 00's off for a career and family. In 2010, VA met Amy at a Girl Scout Leader
meeting, and when Amy saw VA's guitar in the corner (and the fact that VA enjoys
a beer or two), it was a match. Amy and VA started the cover band Curbside
Collective along with theirfriend and bass player Mike Pressgrove. Curbside is still
going strong, but with a want to play more Americana, bluegrass, folk and originals,
Amy and Virginia decided to start Oh! Cleary Sisters to live out this dream.
