Nathan started writing and playing music at age 13. He gained immediate popularity in his middle school, playing Nirvana and other grunge covers for live audiences. At age 14, Nathan was featured on the local ABC affiliate's program "Catch a Rising Star", after seen playing at an open mike night at Blue Angle Café in Chattanooga, TN.
After that, Nathan opened for a couple of local bands and played the local venues like The Attic, Cameleon Club and The Bay. It was common to see audiences in his high school and even in the local bar scene get completely quiet to listen to Nathan's compelling music and guitar-playing ability.
Nate has won several awards for his lyrics and landed a music scholarship to LaGrange College in 2002. Nate also played an original song for his high school graduating class in 2002, heard by nearly 5000 people at McKenzie arena.
Nate is a prolific songwriter, now boasting nearly 1000 original songs. If you haven't had the pleasure of hearing Nate play in person, you have missed a treat. Please watch this page for his next appearance or leave a message that you would like to contact Nathan about a show.
