House Invaders / Bio

-Surge and Enerjay-
“As soon as we walk on stage we entice the musical mind with nail
biting buildups, blood bursting hype, and then create a euphoric explosion
with drops after drops...it almost feels like a war zone...an invasion of beats.”
Every artist has their muse or inspiration, and for brothers Surge and
Enerjay, that muse comes from the guidance and influence of styles from top DJ’s
such as Afrojack & Hardwell. Their passion is obvious not only in the originality of
their music, but also in the method of their performance, which will quickly make
the House Invaders a worldwide name. This sibling duo does not thrive on using
playlists, pre-game music or even cue points, they quite literally go with the flow
and use the energy from their crowds to create unique twists at every show. The
brothers even state they “often improvise” and their true talent is the ability to be
explosively unpredictable and leave the crowd wanting more.
“We are recreating the hype to make sure it never fades...constant
surprises. That’s what being a House Invader is all about!”
Taking advantage of their diverse musical background and exploring ways
to make it work - together, Surge and Enerjay have been rocking the EDM scene
like never before by uniting a melting pot of production styles. Through mixing
styles such as progressive, electro house and occasional trap records, the House
Invaders indirectly made their own hyped genre. The eldest brother of the duo,
Surge, was the initial force in their music journey.
From the ripe young ages, Surge & Enerjay began sneaking into clubs all across New
York City, the most major clubs being ones like Webster Hall, Speed, Deep, Ikon, Avalon,
Jimmy's to name a few. During his
exhilarating shenanigans, they also began exploring the lucrative DJ industry of hiphop
and R&B. By their 20's, they were already becoming more involved with
creating commercial, pop and house genres - spinning at edgy venues such as
PINK, Mansion and Cameo, and even at NYC Times Square for a New Years Eve
event. Three years later during spring break in Cancun, Surge was finally
introduced to the EDM genre, and sensing it was their “calling” he winded up
performing his own original set the very next day, driving the amped up crowd into
a frenzy. Even though in the U.S during this time, EDM wasn’t very publicized, he
was determined to make it so and thus began the House Invaders. Soon, his first
record “Pump”, along with several others (Veranda, Hudson, Phuket, Suite 135, 9A, etc)
was recognized city-wide, they saw their dream's were coming true. However, they didn’t
let it
stop there…
In 2014, the brothers spun
their first major festival, ILLUMINATION at Amazura Concert Hall together. This
performance alone skyrocketed their popularity and success, creating a faithful fan
base with only more to come. Having mastered the logic pro software, and massive
in & out, they were able to produce a plethora of original music which resulted in
them being booked almost everyday of the week at all the major, coming of age
venues, such as LA MARINA, LA Nuit, Silhouette, Raine, Life, Ultra, Yotel, Dip.
Following this outbreak, they once again performed
for an ILLUMINATION festival: Electric Flurry - Largest Foam Party at Amazura
Concert Hall (NYC) as headliners. After Long talks and much thought the brothers decided
it was time to go even further. On their birthday weekend (January 2015) House Invaders
with proper planning organized and threw their very own EDM INDOOR FESTIVAL at
Amazura Concert Hall, beginning a new tour called “LIVE YOUR LIFE”. With an
attendance of over 3000 Ravers this event was sure to boost their popularity even further
growing a fan base they once only dreamed of. **Due to the success of the “LYL” festival
House Invaders currently hold the official BRAND AMBASSADOR position for the world
renowned venue PACHA in NYC**. Currently they are in talks with several locations to
continue the “LIVE YOUR LIFE” Tour and move even further.
Currently, the House Invaders continue to spin for and book out the hottest
venues statewide. Their intimate interaction with crowd, in addition to their insane,
mind blowing beats is what creates such a rich, unique and memorable experience.
Their use of traditional approaches, with inventive methods and undying passion is
becoming an inspiration to many and invading the “raging” hearts of all who listen, as they
put it “ We walk in, We Invade, and you'll remember us forever”
