Mechanics of Things (MOT) was formed by frontman/vocalist Paul Conaway and features ML (Michael Loede) on drums, Brad Stutzman on guitar, and Scott Alberts on bass. The band members are seasoned professionals each having been in and around the music scene for the majority of their lives. MOT hails from the dust, dirt, and noise of Cleveland, OH.
While their inspirations range from old school metal to rock and punk, they have a unique connection and writing style that takes place between them resulting in a metal flavored, hard genre with plenty of angst and passion behind every note. Live performances seem to capture their ferocity hands down, and the energy that exudes at each show is a culmination of the different inspiring histories. Influences include Sabbath, Kyuss, Zeppelin and Clutch.
Mechanics of Things hit the studio to record their second CD titled Murder of Crows due out in February 2013. You can reach the band on ReverbNation, Facebook, Twitter and at www.mechanicsofthings.com.
