“There’s always been a link between music, spirituality, and healing for me,” says conscious music singer-songwriter Frannie Faith. “Music is a heart-opener. I am in the present moment when I'm singing, breathing in and breathing out.”
Frannie has been singing her whole life and writing songs since she was a teenager. She was initiated into Transcendental Meditation at age fifteen and has continued on her spiritual path, studying many practices that are an integral part of her life. Her personal healing journey led her to write the songs on her two CDs, “Artist of the Heart” and “Bring Up The Vibration.” Combining devotional mantras and songs with a pop sensibility, Frannie’s music also embodies world rhythms to dance to and a conscious lyrical message to uplift the heart, mind and spirit. Her CDs have been a hit not only with listeners, but with DJs as well: “Frannie Faith’s voice is a mirror of her soul, innocent and pure.” raves Calm Radio’s Eric Harry. Gary Goldberg from WRPI 91.5 FM says, “When I think a certain song is my favorite, another takes its place. Frannie’s songs lift your spirit….”
Frannie moved to New York City in her 20s to pursue a performing career. While in the city she worked with well known music producers and sang on numerous advertising jingles including background vocals for Whitney Houston’s AT&T campaign. She landed the role of a country singer on the long running television soap opera, “As The World Turns,” for which she wrote and performed over 40 original songs. In addition to penning songs for Patti Austin and others, Frannie recently leant her voice to the film “Scooby Doo: Mystery Inc”. Since 1997 she has been organizing and performing in benefit concerts with her talented friends and family, bringing community together to raise money for various charities, including a concert for Buddhist Monk Bhante Wimala’s humanitarian causes. Frannie’s band “Heart & Soul” performs a repertoire of popular music from the 1920s to current songs and shares this music to rave reviews! “Singing is my way of healing myself and others by connecting people to their hearts. With open hearts we are free to be in our natural state of oneness with one another, nature and our planet, tapping into inner peace, beauty and joy.” Frannie’s concerts and CDs are radiant proof of her intention.
Teaching meditation, privately and in workshops that can also include pranayama, sound healing and song is a passion of Frannie’s.
