Nikki Coleman started singing in her Southern Baptist Church from a very young age, and growing up listening to the entire congregation harmonizing together was a wonderful beginning to her passion for music. She sang in honor choirs throughout highschool, and for private events such as weddings and as a special guests for many local Seattle bands throughout her early musical career. Then, she began taking advanced dance instruction from Westlake Dance Center which lead to a 6 year career performing with BrickHouse Show Band, a very successful Corporate Dance Band in Seattle. This was a fully choreographed band, and she was one of three talented ladies who sang lead and backing vocals, as well as putting on very high energy shows full of Jazz & hip hop dance moves. Her versatility as a vocalist made her the perfect addition for this Top 40 band, covering artists such as Christina Aguilera, Katy Perry, Donna Summer, Evanescence, and Journey. Nikki has commanded stages of all sizes across Washington, Arizona, and Alaska, including the Key Arena.
In 2010, Nikki married the lead guitarist of BrickHouse Band, Craig Coleman. On their wedding night, they decided to start a new musical project together, "DoveLand". This band has been so fulflilling for Nikki, taking her back to her country roots of her childhood, and her vocals have never sounded stronger as she belts out songs from artists such as Carrie Underwood, Michael Jackson, Lady Antebellum, Stevie Wonder, and many more. DoveLand performs many genres of music in the Seattle area for casino's and private events.
