Meredith's vagabond childhood as an “Air Force brat” informs her eclectic songwriting style. From ballads to intentionally hooky folk-pop, Meredith always writes from the heart. Putting down and pulling up roots again and again has only propelled her songwriting forward. The wide-eyed observer desperate for connection to something more real, to something deeper is an ironically less transient notion from someone who has lived in England and in six states before the age of nineteen.
During this time, Meredith’s love of songwriting shape-shifted from a weekend hobby (as a teenager) to her current, utter obsession. Now, Meredith walks through fire to cultivate her unconventional, refreshing sound, and songwriting craft. Working with acclaimed Atlanta-based engineer Bruce Bennett has channeled Meredith’s music into an even more dynamic lane.
A wide and diverse audience responds heartily to Meredith’s anthemic songs and pure-as-the-driven-snow voice. As a seeker of truth, a lover of fashion, art, antiques, and the road less travelled, Meredith will continue to find stories no matter where she looks.
