Alyssa Sease is an aspiring singer/songwriter out of the small town of Brookville, Ohio. She has been playing guitar and writing music for going on twelve years. Alyssa plays a few instruments by ear, other than guitar, like piano and mandolin. As she continued to write throughout the years, her style has shifted from rock/pop to acoustic/indie/folk and recently, she has been exploring rap.
In the early days, Alyssa produced a small five song EP in her hometown that is sold on iTunes and CD Baby under the name Alyssa Bradley. She attended Belmont University and majored in Songwriting in order to study under people in the industry, like Tom Douglas, Thom Schuyler, and Steve Leslie. Alyssa has played with artists such as Sarah Kelly, Mat Kearney, and Matt Nathanson, and has co-written with Drew Ramsey. She has also gotten to record with Charlie Peacock, an experience that she longs to have once more.
Her lyrics focus on different aspects of relationships and the hardships or joys that may arise from them. She hopes to help people in the way they relate to God, friends, family, etc… She writes in such a way that her songs could be identifiable to any listener. Her goal is to love people and their stories through her songs. She hopes to inspire people to reach for the dreams as she continues to reach for hers.
