Last of Nine is an all original band that formed in the summer of 2012 and has been building popularity since their debut in the beginning of 2013.
They had a slow start when the original concept was brought to light by the drummer Justin Young, the former drummer of "One Red X". The focal point was to have an all original 6 piece band in the Symphonic Nu-Metal Rock genre, but they couldn't get there with only Melissa Burnham (Keys) and Mikki St.Pierre (Vocals).
Finding "like minded musicians" took some patience, but in October 2012 Jeff Mushell (Guitar) joined the group and began the writing process with the songs "Affliction" and "Remnants of Misery" and in November 2012 Charles Barrry II (Bass) came on board and began their third song "Take Down". In December 2012 Brad Williams (Guitar) joined the group and brought in the ideas for the songs "Dependence" and "You're Done".
With a full line up Last of Nine hit the recording studio in January 2013, to work on their demo and in April they began playing out in the local NEPA area with four new songs Gone too long, Final Trace, Someday and Promises.
In June 2013 John "Lazz" Lazarowicz (Guitarist) joined the group replacing Brad Williams and is looking forward to heading into the studio in July 2013 as the new addition to Last of Nine.
