Anthony Charles and The Blues Dolphins / Bio

Anthony Charles was born in New York City and started fronting bands in the 60's garage rock era. An accomplished singer - songwriter Anthony spent much of the 80's working for East - West Music, in NYC, singing jingles. Anthony studied formally and graduated from the Oxhon School of Music under the direction of Master jazz pianist and composer Jack Reilly where he studied jazz piano and theory. Anthony has many musical influences from Thelonious Monk, The Beatles, The Stones, Otis Redding, Paul Butterfield, Schoenberg and Bach. Currently he provides the lead vocals and harmonica for Anthony Charles and The Blues Dolphins an authentic Chicago style Blues Quartet.
