"Variety Klubb came together in 2005 through the chance meeting of singer/songwriter/guitarist Andrew Secrett and bassist Marco Juno at the (now sadly defunct) east London institution that was the 491 Gallery. An energetic creative unit was forged but it wasn't until the arrival of drummer Agelis Drums in 2013 that the band truly found that elusive chemistry.
Those who witnessed their first gig were treated to a searing dynamic that was quickly dubbed Trash/Psych/Indie. Since then the songs have continued to flow, the chemistry has deepened and new elements of wistful dream-melody have given the bands' sound a huge range of light and shade; that early edginess maintained and complimented by the new cooler strands."
