Andrew Foster was born September 7th 1987 in Rio Medina, Texas. Inheriting a love of music from his father, Andrew picked up his first instrument, an acoustic guitar, at age 13, and began singing at his local church. After graduating from Medina Valley High school and attending Texas A&M University Corpus Christi, Andrew dropped out of college to pursue a career in music. He began selling merchandise and working as a road manager for local Corpus Christi band Equal People. After 2 years he landed a gig selling merchandise for fiery Texas rock band, Vallejo in Austin, TX. Andrew soon realized that having an edge in the music world was not only being talented but backing it with keen business insight and the understanding of the relationship between music and business. He returned to TAMUCC and graduated with a degree in Marketing. While balancing school, work and some side jobs Andrew began singing in local night clubs in Corpus Christi. Now with more determination than ever Andrew is doing things the “hard way” and frequently adds “it’s not just saying you want it more than the other guy, it’s the ability to make things happen, it ain’t an easy task but sometimes you have to dig your heals in the ground and demand attention. The hardworking, very determined young singer has taken his dream by the horns and is determined to prove he belongs in country music.
