The artist I'm most excited about working with now is Michael John Hayes, who is originally from upstate New York. He has a gravelly, lusty voice that melts into the hottest electric blues guitar playing I've heard in a really long time. Don't forget I'm from Chicago, so I'm a tough cookie when it comes to blues. His live show is seductive, blending the most deliberate and precise technical skills with the fervent energy of a young Iggy Pop: you can't peel your eyes away! Clearly, I'm pretty excited about working with him.
Savage, ferocious, relentless…
