Kaylee Rose Madsen has been filling the world with music since she started humming on her mama’s shoulder at 10 months old. She held concerts in her bedroom for her dogs and stuffed animals, sequestered family members for hours with her favorite artists’ song renditions and video re-enactments, and entertained anyone within earshot with her joyfully-filled tunes. Often told that she was ‘unique’ and ‘born to do something big’, she is now following her dreams to share her voice and her passion for a purposeful-life with the world.
With a heart overflowing with a love for country music, Kaylee was also captivated by the lyrics and power of hip-hop and Christian music. She’s spent countless hours at concert halls, small venues and churches engulfed and mesmerized by the sights, sounds and energy of live performances. Through these influences and experiences along with her quirky, charismatic personality, she’s developed a style unlike other artists and ventured onto a distinctive path.
At 20, she recorded her first EP entitled ‘Kaylee Rose Madsen” which includes an enticing original that she co-wrote with her dad and her producer. The EP has gained many supporters and fans of her artistic, undeniable talent.
Kaylee has been greatly impacted by her involvement with 4-H, FFA, horse showing, county/ state fair competitions and promotes agricultural respect and appreciation. She is also passionate about her faith and shares His message through her work with her church worship team and by mentoring others. Additionally, she is committed to being a role model for young girls and women because the standards and self-value they set and feel for themselves will carry them through their lives. “God doesn’t make mistakes - you were made for a purpose. Know who you are, stay true to who you are, and don’t let society conform you. Be you because being you is wonderful.”
Kaylee looks forward to the future and hopes she can share her heart through her voice. Be it a local coffee shop, a Sunday service or a sold-out arena stage, you’ll find a gifted young woman with a deep love for country music and a desire to “change it up!”
