Faith, is a Samoan female artist, born and raised in Hawaii, in the Kalihi area of Honolulu (Oahu). Her journey as a singer started at the young age of 4 in church, at various church functions, including a church convention that had over a 1,000 in attendance.
Over the years, she's clung to her talent, and have developed it, by singing in church and in ministries. She started singing outside of church in 2010, when she joined a local female cover band, where she was used primarily as a backup vocalist, with occasional leads. In the fall of 2012, she linked up with Riddimhouse as she was tabbed to do backing vocals for Utah based reggae artist "Teki" on his Hawaii tour. Immediately after, she was offered an opportunity to do a track on Riddimhouse's "Native Riddims" compilation. The vision furthered to developing her as a solo artist. Over the year's we've had successful Polynesian male artists come out of Hawaii, such as Aziel, Pati, Siaosi, Kiwini, Laga Savea, etc. We haven't had a true Polynesian female really come forward and match that energy, and lineage, from a female's perspective. Acknowledging Anuhea, Irie Love and Kimie for reviving the female's voice in island music. Riddimhouse Entertainment looks to enter Faith as an addition to the hard work those women have done thus far, in sustaining the female perspective in contemoprary island/island reggae music.
Currently, she is in the studio working on her album, due to be released in the late summer or early fall of 2013.
